Concerns:
This patient was initially concerned about the wear on her front teeth. She also had questions about the color and alignment of both her front and back teeth. She had reached a point in her life where she wanted to feel better about the way her smile looked and felt a more attractive smile would make her feel better about herself.

Evaluation:
A comprehensive cosmetic and functional evaluation that addressed issues of health, comfort and beauty helped us determine what steps to take to address our patients concerns. A bite imbalance was causing the wear on her front teeth. Upper and lower teeth were crowded out of their normal position and the natural aging process had resulted in teeth that were darker and greyer.

Solution:
Balancing her bite alleviated the wear on her front teeth and also eliminated this patient’s daily headaches. Porcelain crowns on the back teeth and porcelain veneers on her front teeth resulted in what this patient described as a “life changing” experience, creating an aesthetic result that exceeded her expectations.
